LSR (Liquid Silicone Rubber) is a two-component, liquid silicone rubber that cures through heating (injection molding) to form a durable, flexible, and heat-resistant elastomer. It is ideal for producing complex, high-quality precision parts with short cycle times, often used in medical, food-grade, and technical applications.

Key features of liquid silicone rubber (LSR): Process: The material consists of two components (A and B) that are mixed and injected into a hot mold (injection molding), where it cures rapidly. Properties: LSR has excellent resistance to extreme temperatures (-50^{\circ }C) to 250^{\circ }C), high mechanical strength, is transparent or colorable, and biocompatible (safe for medical use).

Applications: Widely used for medical implants, gaskets and hardware in consumer devices, electronic interfaces (keyboards), O-rings, and automotive parts.

Advantages: High reproducibility, very fine level of detail and suitable for mass production (>10,000 pieces).

Unlike solid silicone (HTV), LSR is liquid and is specifically processed via injection molding (LIM).
